Montana's Parrot & Exotic Bird Sanctuary Now Official 501(c)(3) Non Profit
Whitehall, MT- March 22, 2010 - Montana's Parrot & Exotic Bird Sanctuary has officially gained their non profit status and can begin accepting tax deductible donations to assist them in their rescue, rehabilitation and education efforts of parrots and exotic birds in Montana. Since 2004, MPEBS has assisted exotic bird owners in caring for or finding forever homes for these unique and loving pets.
MPEBS is excited to announce their new status which will enable them to rescue and rehabilitate more parrots and exotic birds, and to develop an expanded education program for both exotic bird owners and the general public on unique qualities, care and keeping necessary for the amazing animals. Plans are currently being developed to include education seminars, public events, infirmary aviary for ill and injured birds, a larger rescue facility and expanded volunteer programs.
Community involvement is very important to MPEBS and volunteers assist them in caring for and rehabilitating exotic birds in addition to community outreach efforts. If you are interested in parrots and exotic birds, and would like to help MPEBS in their continued work, please feel free to contact MPEBS for additional information.
